One of our clients in SC needs assistance with Trauma Surgery locum tenens coverage. Here are some of the details:
Location: 1 hour away from Columbia, SC
Facility: 500-bed Hospital
Coverage Dates: ASAP - Sporadic
Schedule: 7a-5p; Mon-Sun; No call; daytime coverage
Practice Details: Procedures required: Predominantly blunt trauma, penetrating trauma, emergent procedures with general surgery, some ICU bedside procedures (tracheotomy, PEG tube, chest tube, etc.); Each service will have 1 APP dedicated to them. So in total there will be 3 APPs on a day; Adult and Pediatric trauma comfort required. Pediatric age range generally 8-15, mostly 13-15 within that range; Day services are broken down into three separate services: Trauma, Surgical Critical Care, and Acute Care Surgery; The Locum will more than likely be assigned to the Trauma or Surgical Critical Care service, but our lead trauma surgeon will make these assignments closer to the date and communicate that with the provider
Setting: Inpatient, hospital, EMR: EPIC
Must be SC licensed and Board Certified/Eligible
Malpractice, travel and credentialing are taken care of on your behalf
