Trauma Surgery (Level 1) Opportunity - Baton Rouge, LA
If you are interested in keeping your skills sharp with a Level I Trauma Center, Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center is the place to be. Applicants must be board certified or board eligible in general surgery and fellowship trained in Surgical Critical Care or Trauma Surgery. Also, participation in resident and fellow education, as well as clinical research, is required.

•Treating 3,500+ patients annually with a 24% penetrating rate
• Fully staffed with 24/7 trauma surgeons, emergency and other specialty physicians, nurses, therapists, social workers, and 7 advanced practice providers on-site
• Designated research coordinator
• On-site residents and fellows
• Primary teaching site for graduate medical education programs
• Largest private hospital in Louisiana
• Designated as Baton Rouge region's only Level I Trauma Center; and one of three Level 1 Trauma Center’s in the state of Louisiana
