A hospital in Southeastern Virginia is seeking a Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to start ASAC for Locum Tenens coverage through year end 2023.

Details:
  • Practice Setting: Hospital with ED coverage
  • Schedule (Shifts and Hours): 24 hour
  • Average Number of Trauma Surgical Cases Per Day: 4
  • Percent (%) of ED Patients Admitted to the Hospital: 10-20
  • Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
  • Patient Age Demographic: Adult
Required Procedures/Responsibilities:
  • Trauma Cases ADULT
  • General Orthopedic Trauma
Credentialing timeframe: ~60 days depending on how fast the information is provided
  • Orthopedic Trauma Board Certification - REQUIRED
  • Fellowship Training - REQUIRED
  • Active VA license & DEA - REQUIRED (firm)
  • BLS Certified - REQUIRED
  • COVID Vaccination - REQUIRED
