JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hospital near Florida coast seeking a Trauma Surgeon with a critical care fellowship to join our dynamic trauma and acute care surgery team with the only trauma center. 14 shifts per month: 12-hour primary in-house coverage, plus 12-hour back-up (rarely called in).
The acute care surgery team has six advanced practice professionals, with 24-hour APP coverage
General surgery and emergency medicine residents rotate on the service
The program participates in TQIP and TQIP collaboratives
Covers all general surgery call for the hospital
