Surgicalist needed for physician-owned group of 25 surgeons providing an array of general and specialty surgical care, including a Trauma and Acute Care Surgery division.
We are currently seeking an experienced inpatient surgicalist to join our Trauma and Acute Care Service in the heart of Charlotte, North Carolina. The position will offer a competitive compensation package, along with a quality incentive bonus and sign-on bonus.
Position Description:
• Hospital-based Acute Care Surgeon
• Level III Trauma Center
• Responsible for all trauma and acute care surgery consults, both inpatient and ED; no elective surgery responsibilities.
• Proposed Schedule is 7 days on / 7 days off
• Clinic is one day per week for follow up care
Candidate Qualifications:
• Board Certified in General Surgery (required)
• Previous Trauma experience (preferred)
• ATLS Certification (required)
• Active state medical license in North Carolina or willingness/ability to obtain NC license within a reasonable timeframe
