Candidate Qualifications

  • Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery
  • Completion of an ASTS-accredited Abdominal Transplant Fellowship
  • Eligible for an unrestricted Texas medical license
  • Ability to independently perform deceased donor liver and kidney transplantation
  • Proficiency in liver transplantation and laparoscopic donor nephrectomy
  • Experience preferred; new graduates will be considered
  • Interest in working within a consensus-driven model alongside a highly experienced group of hepatologists, nephrologists, and transplant surgeons
  • Low resident participation environment, allowing for focused surgical practice
