**Transplant Surgeon Opportunity in Burlington, MA** Located 17 miles from Boston **Position Details:** - Senior Transplant surgeon to join busy abdominal transplant program. - Full-time, permanent position - Division also includes a busy hepatopancreatic biliary surgery service. - Experience in robotic surgery is desired. **Qualifications include** - The candidate should have completed training in general surgery and an ASTS-approved transplant fellowship - Candidates must have experience in liver, kidney transplantation, as well as multi-organ donor procurements - Experience in living-donor liver transplantation is important as this individual will play a key role in expanding this service - Candidates must have a demonstrated track record of clinical excellence and scholarly activities - The successful candidate for this position may be considered for Tufts Medical School appointment as an Assistant, Associate Professor, or full professor commensurate with experience and achievements - Board Certified/Board Eligible in Surgery - Eligible for a full medical license to practice in Massachusetts This health system consists of over 200 care locations including 13 hospitals with over 240 beds and 5 ambulatory surgery centers. Approximately 4,300 physicians are associated with BILH including 840 primary physicians managing 1.3 million patients.
