A facility in central North Dakota needs a cardiothoracic surgeon as soon as possible on an ongoing basis, 2 weeks per month. Are you available?
- Dates: ASAP - ongoing; 2 weeks per month
- Schedule: 24-hour call Monday - Sunday; call taken for cardiothoracic surgery, vascular, and CRM emergencies
- Volume: 1-2 surgeries per day; 3 phone consults, 1 admit, and 5 rounding patients per 24 hours
- Cases: aneurysms, cardiac, arrhythmia, coronary artery, lung cancer, thoracoscopy, insertion of pacemakers and AICDs, endovascular, peripheral vascular, all trauma cases; must be able to perform cardiothoracic and vascular surgical procedures
- Preferred: esophageal swallowing problems, emphysema, gastroesophageal reflux
- Support: registered nurse, nurse practitioner or physician assistant
- Requirements: board certification, ACLS, ND license, ND DEA
- EMR: Epic
- Credentialing: 30-45 days
