Shift times: 24 hr call 7a-7a
Call: 24 hr call 7a-7a, 1 weekend per month, occaisional weekday call- not always on site- but may need to come into hospital while on call, beeper provided
Procedures/Experience: Needs cardiac AND thoracic experience (very heavy cardiac), consults, urgent surgeries, daily rounds, aneurysm repairs, thoracic surgery, abdominal surgery, arterial bypass, peripheral, vascular access devices, abdominal aortic aneurysms, thoracoabdominal aneurysms, cartoid artery stenting, bypass surgery, femoral popliteal bypass, aortofemoral bypass, peripheral artery disease
Patient Load: 15-20ppd- 50% adult, 50% geriatric
EMR: Cerner
Credentialing: 60-90 days
Back up specialties: 2MDs, 4PAs
