Thoracic Surgeon - (Surgery - Cardiothoracic) Locum Tenens
Washington State facility is seeking BC Thoracic Surgeon for ongoing locums weekend call coverage beginning in August 2016. Call is Friday evening through Monday morning. Call Staff Care for more information today!
Specializing in surgical procedures that target the heart and the blood vessels of the chest, cardiothoracic surgeons(locum tenens) have one of the most demanding and exacting jobs in medicine. Surgeries performed by these surgeons include insertion of a pacemaker, the bypassing of blocked coronary arteries and treatment of aortic aneurysm. Cardiothoracic surgeons also frequently oversee the administration of anesthesia during open heart surgery.
