Locums Thoracic Surgery Physician in Atlanta, Georgia - Broad Procedures, Low Daily Volume
Cover a comprehensive general thoracic service with approximately 5 to 7 patients daily, 24 hour call, and opportunities for additional PRN blocks.

Practice & Cases
- Inpatient and outpatient general thoracic surgery
- Lobectomy, wedge resection, VATS, and decortication
- Esophagectomy, mediastinoscopy, and thymectomy
- Bronchoscopy, hiatal hernia repair, and Nissen fundoplication
Schedule
- Multi-day coverage blocks
- 24 hour call with daytime rounding
- Calls may originate from multiple locations
- Onsite rounding and callbacks limited to two locations
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- Must be Board Certified in Thoracic Surgery
- Active Georgia medical license required
- DEA required
