Assignment Details
* Coverage Dates: To be determined
* Coverage Type: 24-hour call
* Practice Setting: Hospital-based
* Schedule: Approximately 10-14 call days per month
* Weekend Coverage: Included
* Average Case Volume: Approximately 1 case per day
* Patient Population: Adults
* Trauma Level: Level II
* Operating Rooms: 20
* Support Staff: 3 PAs
* EMR: Epic
Requirements
* Active OH license
* Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
* Cardiothoracic Surgery fellowship training
* ACLS
* BLS
* Self-query NPDB report completed within 30 days of presentation
* Ability to perform all required procedures
* Clean history
Clinical Details
* Coronary artery bypass grafting
* Arterial revascularization using internal mammary, radial, and gastroepiploic arteries
* Redo coronary revascularization with or without heart valve surgery
* Pericardial window
* Heart valve repair and replacement
* Mitral valve repair
* Hospital rounding
