POSITION SUMMARY
Opportunity to join an established thoracic surgery service within a multidisciplinary cardiovascular program. The position includes a combination of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities and collaboration with a large team of physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical support personnel. Practice resources include advanced surgical technology, diagnostic services, and electronic documentation systems designed to support efficient patient care and workflow.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Thoracic Surgery.
• Residency training applicable to Thoracic Surgery.
• Training or experience in Thoracic Surgery.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in New Mexico.
• Open to both newly trained and experienced surgeons.
COMPETENCIES
• Management of thoracic surgical patients across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Collaboration within a multidisciplinary clinical team.
• Ability to participate in shared call responsibilities.
• Utilization of industry-standard electronic medical record systems.
• Commitment to efficient, high-quality patient care and clinical documentation.

Work Environment: Hospital; Inpatient; Outpatient; Clinic/Private Practice
