Seeking BC/BE Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join established cardiac surgery program in Rochester, New York
Position Highlights:
Practice at a 600+ bed tertiary care medical center
Join 3 experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeons in a stable, collegial environment
Established referral network across a 9-hospital health system
Opportunity to build and maintain a high-quality operative volume of approximately 150–200 cases annually
Broad case mix including:
- Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)
- Surgical Aortic Valve Replacement (SAVR)
- Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
- Mitral valve surgery and transcatheter interventions
- Structural heart procedures
- Advanced heart failure surgery
- LVAD program participation
- Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM)
- Pulmonary Hypertension management
Planned succession opportunity within an established and respected program

Responsibilities:
Perform adult cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures
Participate in multidisciplinary heart team conferences
Collaborate with cardiology, heart failure, and critical care teams
Contribute to program development and growth initiatives
Maintain high-quality patient-centered care and documentation
Qualifications:
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
Eligible for New York medical licensure
Commitment to collaborative, patient-centered care
Open to early-career surgeons seeking mentorship or experienced surgeons looking to expand practice
