This role provides cardiothoracic surgical care within a hospital-employed program that supports cardiac, thoracic, and vascular case volumes. The position functions within a referral environment with opportunities for involvement in medical student and resident education.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Surgery and/or Thoracic Surgery.
• Residency training in Surgery.
• Fellowship training in Thoracic Surgery.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Missouri.
• Clinical background in cardiothoracic surgical care.

COMPETENCIES
• Proficiency in cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical and critical care teams.
• Skill in working with dedicated operative staff and perioperative support services.
• Capacity to participate in educational activities with trainees.
• Commitment to accurate documentation and evidence-based surgical practice.
