We are seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a dynamic locum opportunity in York, PA. This role offers a mix of clinic, surgical procedures, and call coverage in a high-volume hospital setting, providing exposure to advanced cardiac cases and a collaborative care environment.
Job Responsibilities
Perform cardiothoracic surgical procedures and interventions 🫀
Provide inpatient rounding and outpatient clinic care
Manage urgent and emergent cardiac cases
Participate in night and 24-hour call coverage ⏰
Collaborate with APPs and multidisciplinary teams
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery ✔️
Active Pennsylvania license (or willingness to obtain)
DEA certification required
Minimum 1 year of experience
Working Hours
Clinic: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM 🏥
Night Call: 3:30 PM – 7:00 AM 🌙
24-hour Call: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
Scheduled blocks across May and June 📅
Skills
Strong surgical and clinical expertise 🔬
Experience with complex cardiac procedures
Excellent decision-making in high-acuity settings
Proficiency with EPIC EMR
