🩺 Job Overview:
We are looking for a Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a call-focused locum role with consistent weekend coverage and ongoing need.
📅 Schedule Details:
- Start Date: May 10, 2026
- Contract Length: Ongoing
- Schedule: 3 weekends per month
Shift:
- Friday 12:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM
- 24-hour call coverage
⚙️ Work Details:
- Patient population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
- Cases include urgent cardiothoracic procedures
- Patients may come from cath lab to surgery
- Stable cases may be scheduled
- Surgeon backup available after consult
- Typical flow: ICU to discharge
- EMR: Epic
✅ Requirements:
- Board Certified / Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Active state license (or willingness to obtain)
- DEA required
- Minimum 1 year of experience
