Physician - Cardiothoracic Surgery in Maryland

Opportunity Highlights

• Schedule: 12-hour and 24-hour call shifts (7:00 PM starts are 12-hour call, 7:00 AM starts are 24-hour call)
• Job Setting: Hospital CT Surgery
• Types of Cases: Bypass surgery, rounding with PA in the morning and performing any necessary procedures throughout the day. Physician assistant takes calls and surgeon is only contacted for urgent or emergent issues. Rounding typically 2-4 hours depending on surgical patient volume

Minimum Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified or Board Eligible in cardiac or both cardiac and thoracic
• Certifications: Must be able to perform Bypass surgery
