Thoracic Surgery Locums Job in Washington | Weekend 24-Hour Call | Ongoing Coverage Starting 4/1/2026 | Assignment #113555
Coverage Needed:
-- 4/1/2026 - Ongoing
Shift Description:
-- Friday (6am) – Sunday (6am)
-- Two times per month
-- 24-Hour Call
Requirements:
-- Board Certified
-- Must be licensed in Washington
-- ACLS or BLS
-- DEA
-- Procedures: chest tube insertion, open/thoracoscopic general thoracic and foregut surgeries
Assignment Details:
-- EMR: Cerner (transitioning to Epic in May)
-- Average callback: 2-6 hours
-- Types of cases: pleural disease (empyema, spontaneous pneumothorax, etc.), paraoesophageal hernias, esophageal perforation
-- Temporary privileges available
