ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a Board-Certified Cardiothoracic/Vascular Surgeon to provide short-term call coverage. This role supports a full-service acute care hospital, managing a 100% adult cardiothoracic and vascular caseload with comprehensive surgical and inpatient responsibilities.

• April–May: Start 7:00 AM 4/27/2026 – Sign out 7:00 AM 5/4/2026

• May: Start 7:00 AM 5/15/2026 – Sign out 7:00 AM 5/25/2026

Job Details / Responsibilities

• Provide call coverage for cardiothoracic and vascular surgery services

• Perform a full range of adult CV, thoracic, and vascular procedures, including:

  • Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG)

  • Congenital defect repair

  • Valvular repair and replacement

  • Aneurysm repair

  • Lung resections (including VATS)

  • Chest wall and pleural procedures

  • Esophageal and diaphragmatic surgeries

  • Carotid and renal endarterectomy

  • Bronchoscopy and ventilation management

• Evaluate and manage acute volume and blood pressure issues

• Work within a 250-bed hospital with a 60-bed ICU

• Collaborate with 1 physician and 2 mid-level providers

• Utilize onsite lab and x-ray services

• Document care using EPIC

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Board Certified in Cardiothoracic/Vascular Surgery

• Active Ohio medical license

• BLS and ACLS certification

• Clean professional record

• COVID-19 vaccination (required at name clear)

• Ability to cover all listed dates

• Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation
