Requirements
-- Board Certification
-- BLS/ACLS
-- Ohio state license
-- Clean malpractice history
Required Procedures / Skills
-- General cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgeries
-- Coronary artery bypass surgery
-- Congenital defects
-- Valvular repairs/replacements
-- Aneurysm repair
-- Lung resection (including VATS)
-- Chest wall/pleural procedures
-- Esophagus/diaphragm surgeries
-- Endarterectomy (carotid & renal)
-- Ventilation management
-- Bronchoscopy
-- Evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues
Assignment Details
-- Full-service acute care hospital
-- Adult caseload: 100%
-- Physicians in practice: 1; mid-levels: 2
-- Onsite lab and x-ray
-- Total beds: 250; ICU beds: 60
