⏰ Schedule & Call
- Monday–Friday: 6:45 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Night & weekend call: Approximately 7–8 call shifts per month
- Call rotation: Shared among 3 providers
🏥 Clinical Environment
- Level I Trauma Center
- Approx. 2 surgical cases per day
- High-acuity adult and geriatric population
- Robust ancillary and surgical support teams
- Modern EMR for streamlined documentation
🔪 Procedures Required
- Redo coronary revascularization
- Arterial revascularization (IMA, radial, gastroepiploic)
- Heart valve repair and replacement
- Mitral valve repair
- Thoracic and descending aortic aneurysm repair
- CoreValve® procedures
- Tube thoracostomy
- Pericardial window
✅ Requirements
- Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon
- Active Connecticut medical license
- BLS & ACLS certification
