Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Thoracic surgeon to work locum shifts in Richmond, Virginia (VA) . Starting in January , the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.
The Thoraic surgery role:
Location: Richmond, Virginia (VA)
Coverage Dates:
- January 16 (5:00 PM) – January 19 (7:00 AM)
- February 6 (5:00 PM) – February 9 (7:00 AM)
- (Additional dates beyond February will follow once finalized)
Schedule:
- 24-hour shifts
Required Procedures
- Bronchoscopy
- Robot-Assisted Thoracic Surgery
- Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery (VATS)
- Navigational Bronchoscopy
- Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS)
- Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)
- Tube Thoracostomy
- Tracheostomy
- Pericardial Window
- Thoracic Aortic Aneurysm Repair
- Mediastinoscopy
- Segmentectomy, Lobectomy, Bilobectomy, Pneumonectomy
- Thoracotomy, Decortication
EMR: Epic
Requirements:
Virginia medical license active and unrestricted
Board Certified- Thoracic Surgery
BLS & ACLS
