Locums Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician in Illinois - Weekend Call Only
Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician locums opportunity in Quincy, Illinois, offering 1-2 weekend call blocks per month.
Highlights
- Weekend-only coverage
- One to two weekends per month
- Pager call with no clinic
Practice Setting
- Inpatient hospital environment
- Average daily census of 7 patients
- CVU team assists with rounding and patient communication
- Cardiology referrals for surgical management
Schedule
- Friday 10:00 AM to Monday 5:00 AM
- 30-minute response time for emergent cases
- Additional future multi-day stretches possible
- No long-term full-time commitment required
Cases and Procedures
- CABG management and surgical intervention
- Post-operative cardiothoracic care
- AM rounding with as-needed follow-ups
- Average 3 calls per weekend
Requirements
- Board Certified in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery
- Active Illinois license
- ACLS, BLS, and DEA
