Cardiovascular Surgery Locums Job in Northern Virginia | Seeking Weekend 24-Hour Coverage Starting January 2026 & Ongoing (Friday at 5P - Monday at 7A)
Jackson and Coker is partnered with a facility in northern Virginia that needs Cardiovascular Surgery locum tenens weekend 24-hour call coverage. Look forward to picking up ~2 weekends per month of 24-hour call coverage & intermittent holiday/vacation stretches in 2026 and working with a team/facility that has been repeatedly recognized as a center for excellence in comprehensive cardiac, thoracic & vascular surgery care. Are you available for the two open weekends below?
The following 2026 weekends need coverage:
Friday, January 16 at 5PM - Monday, January 19 at 7AM
Friday, February 13 at 5PM - Monday, February 16 at 7AM* Will need to complete training + orientation during the day on Friday prior to your first shift starting
Details for Assignment #112537:
--Active & unrestricted Virginia license required
--Board Certification or true Eligibility required
--Weekends start on Friday at 5pm & end Monday at 7am
--24-hour call coverage + patient rounding
--Facility detail: designated trauma center, 300+ beds, Epic EMR, 2 Current Surgeons on staff
--600+ heart cases annually
--Bread & Butter - must do both Cardiothoracic & Cardiovascular Surgery
