Coverage Details

Coverage Type: 24-hour shifts

Provider required to round on all in-patients daily and provide 24/7 CVT call coverage

Schedule: 7:00 am – 7:00 am (24-hour shifts)
Work Environment

Support staff includes:

First-assistant (NP/PA)

Two surgical techs
-
One RN circulator
-
Anesthesiologist
-
ICU nursing staff

Step-down nursing staff (4th floor)

Trauma Level: Level II

EMR: Meditech

Beds in department: 318
Skills Required
-
Must be able to perform open heart procedures
-
Competency in CABG and aortic dissections
-
Ability to cover adult cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical cases
