Job Details

Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform adult cardiac surgeries, including coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) and arterial revascularization using internal mammary, radial, and gastroepiploic arteries
- Conduct redo coronary revascularization with or without heart valve surgery
- Manage tube thoracostomy and pericardial window procedures
- Perform general thoracic surgeries including thoracotomy lung biopsy, lung resections and pneumonectomy, thoracotomy decortication, chest wall resection and reconstruction, mediastinal surgery, and mediastinotomy with biopsy
- Complete heart valve repair and replacement surgeries, including CoreValve system and mitral valve repair
Additional Information
- Must hold an active Indiana medical license
- Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery required
- Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification required
- Experience with adult patient populations necessary
