Job description
We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a locum assignment starting December 22 – January 5, 2025, with potential for ongoing sporadic coverage.
Position Details:

Setting: Hospital-based

Procedures: ~5–6 cases/week

CABG
-
Arterial & redo coronary revascularization
-
Heart valve repair/replacement
-
Thoracic surgeries (lung resections, pneumonectomy, decortication, mediastinal surgery, chest wall reconstruction)

Tube thoracostomy, pericardial window
-
-
ORs: 16
-
ER Volume: 45K/year
-
EMR: EPIC
-
Support Team: CT-NP, CT-PA, CT rounding nurse
-
Patient Population: Adult & geriatric
-
Credentialing: ~30 days
-
Travel: Flight, hotel, rental car covered

Requirements:

Board Certified or Board Eligible

Active Indiana medical license + DEA/CSR

Available for all listed dates

Able to take 24-hr call (includes 4 hours gratis)
