LOCUM Cardiothoracic Surgeon *131635: West, Colorado
Job Summary
Diagnose diseases, injuries, and conditions using history, physical exams, and diagnostics.
Communicate treatment options and address patient concerns with a patient-centered approach.
Document accurately in medical records for care continuity, compliance, and billing.
Provide leadership and feedback to the clinical team.
Consult with colleagues and refer patients when clinically appropriate.
Duration: 211 days, from 09/01/2025 to 03/31/2026.
Must be available for 24-hour call shifts as scheduled.
Care Setting: Inpatient and outpatient services.
Shifts: 10 24-hour call shifts, 5x8 Hr shifts per month.
Key Requirements
Licensure: Valid license to practice in Colorado.
Qualifications: MD or DO degree, residency trained in specialty.
Board Certified/Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
Certifications: Valid DEA, BLS, or ACLS upon hire.
Experience: Excellent communication skills, confidentiality, compassion, and responsibility.
