BC/BE Thoracic Surgeon – Lead & Grow a High-Impact Program in Columbus, OH

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated BC/BE Thoracic Surgeon to help grow a thoracic surgery program in Columbus, OH.

Job Description:

• Experienced providers preferred; new fellowship graduates considered case-by-case (BE within 2 years).

• Opportunity for Medical Director role for the right candidate to lead and expand thoracic surgery volume.

• ASAP start.

• Practice includes inpatient, outpatient, and clinic care.

• Schedule: Monday to Friday with weekend call rotation.

• Focus on developing thoracic surgery program due to unmet demand and growth.

• Includes all general thoracic surgery (benign and malignant) except transplantation.

• Supported by DaVinci Xi robot, pulmonary/critical care physicians, multi-disciplinary tumor board, and dedicated APP support.

• Large, established referral base within medical group, ACO, and community partners.

• EMR: EPIC

• Not open to locum, visa, 1099, or long-distance commuting candidates.

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible (within 2 years) in Thoracic Surgery

• Fellowship-trained in Thoracic Surgery

• OH license (or willing to obtain)

• ACLS & DEA (or willing to obtain)

• Clean malpractice and license history
