Job description
We are hiring a locum Cardiothoracic Surgeon to provide weekend call coverage (1–2 weekends/month, Friday–Sunday) - this is strictly beeper call!
Position Details:

Schedule: 1–2 weekends/month (Friday–Sunday)

Call Type: Beeper call only

Start Date: ~60 days (privileging required)

Privileging: ~60 days from submission of RFA/application

Location: Texas
Requirements:
-
Active Texas license (IMLC not accepted)
-
ATLS certification – Required
-
Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency)
-
Clean background – No red flags (must pass privileging review)
Required Procedures:
-
General CV/CT surgery – open (not endoscopic)
-
Coronary artery bypass surgery (on-pump and off-pump)
-
Aorto-femoral/iliac bypass procedures
-
Fem-pop bypass (preferred, not required)
Compensation and perks:
-
24hr flat rate: $2600/W2 and $3000/1099

Travel and accommodation reimbursement

$3000 referral bonus
