Cardiothoracic Surgeon Locums Job in Florida | Inpatient Surgical + Call Coverage | 09/22/25 – 02/27/26 | Assignment #111088

Coverage Needed: September 22 – February 27

Shift Description:
--Monday – Friday, 6:45 AM – 5 PM
--Weekend Coverage: Rounding with PA, Emergent OR Cases Only, All New Consults (Likely 1 Weekend/Month)
--No clinic / inpatientconsults, inpatient surgical cases, pre & postoperative rounding.
--Allrounding is done with an APP.
--APP will create progress notes & consultnotes.
--Surgeon will need to add their note and cosign.

Night Call Details:
--Weekday Call: 4:30 PM – 7 AM (Intermittent, Shared Equitably Across Surgeons)
--Weekend Call: Friday 4:30 PM – Monday 7 AM
--Surgical PA is First Call for Floor Patients
--CVICU: CTS APP will be on site most nights
--ER Will Call Surgeon if Needed
--Will cover M-Th nightcall intermittently (this is spread across all surgeons equitably)

Requirements:
--Board Eligible or Board Certified
--Active Florida Medical License
--Clean NPDB (Must Be Within Last 3 Months – No Hits)
--Primary Source CaseLogs – only to reflect the past 12 months, no other prior dates. Facility onlyaccepting the last 12 months (HIPAA Compliant/De-Identified)

--Inpatient Consults, Surgical Cases, Pre & Postoperative Rounding
--No Clinic Responsibilities
--Support Staff: PA
