Schedule & Coverage

Call Only:

Weeknight call: Mon–Thurs, 5 pm – 7 am

Weekend call: 1 per month (Fri 5 pm – Mon 7 am); occasional need for 2 weekends/month

Workload: 5–10 patients per day

Setting: Inpatient (420-bed hospital)

Rounding & admissions required
Practice Environment

Support Staff: Always at least 1 NP on-site Mon–Sat during daytime hours

Procedures: Standard thoracic surgery (no robotics required)

Requirements

Board Certified in Thoracic Surgery

Licensing: Active WA license or IMLC with active LOQ (needed for quick start)
