Cardiothoracic Surgery - Kissimmee, FL A well-established and expanding cardiovascular and thoracic surgical group is seeking a skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join their team in Kissimmee, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a growing program with access to cutting-edge technology and comprehensive team support. Position Details

  • Join a growing network of experienced cardiothoracic surgeons with locations throughout Florida, including Gainesville, Tallahassee, Ocala, Orlando, Fort Walton Beach, and Pensacola
  • Practice performs: - Coronary revascularization - Valve repair and replacement - Broad-based thoracic surgery
  • Advanced programs include: - TAVR - Minimally invasive cardiac and robotic thoracic surgery - Aortic surgery and ECMO
  • Inpatient/Outpatient
Qualifications Board certified/board eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery Experience and comfort level with: - Aortic disease - Valve repair/replacement (open and endovascular procedures) - TAVR Familiarity with advanced technologies that reduce the invasiveness of thoracic and cardiovascular procedures Strong team-building and collaborative skills with a proven record of positive outcomes Minimum of 5 years' experience preferred, though candidates with less are encouraged to apply Facility Details Work with a collaborative interdisciplinary team including: - Cardiologists - Anesthesiologists - Surgeons - RN and Critical Care staff Focused on achieving the highest quality care and patient outcomes Location Conveniently located 35 miles south of downtown Orlando, Poinciana is the largest unincorporated master-planned community in the U.S and is one of the fastest growth areas for Central Florida over the past decade. Walt Disney World lies 20 miles to the north of Poinciana and Orlando International Airport (MCO) is 30 miles northeast. Many lakes surround the area, one of which being Lake Tohopekaliga. Lake Toho, as the locals call it, is known for its bass fishing, birdwatching, and wild life. Both the Atlantic and Gulf coasts are located 90 minutes to the east and west for convenience day trips or a weekend getaway.
