LOCUM Cardiovascular Surgeon *128020: Southeast, Michigan
Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgery
Clinic, Call, or Both:
Outpatient visits
Surgery call
Inpatient rounding
Schedule:
June 13: Orientation
June 16, 17: Proctoring
June 18 - on-going
APPs take the first call (ICU, Hospital floors, outpatients, and ED)
Immediate need and ongoing until perm is on board
Inpt 70% / Output 30%
Cases/Procedures:
CABGs
Bread and butter cases
Clinical support:
Full CVOR support
Anesthesia - 2 CV anesthesiologists on staff
APPs take the first call and vein harvesting
Required experience, training, and certifications: ACLS
Case Logs Required: 50 Open Heart procedures within the last 12 months
Consider IMLC or waiting for a license: Must have an active MI license and MI DEA
