Job description Seeking a BE/BC Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join talented team in northern IL. This position will work closely with cardiology, pulmonology, medical oncology and radiation oncology. A rewarding practice in the heart of the Midwest alongside a strong oncology program with more than 65% of the market share.

Details:
  • Providing care to cardiothoracic surgery patients, working closely with advanced practice providers who streamline workflow and patient management
  • Working exclusively in the region’s only designated Heart Hospital, this is the most preferred provider of cardiac services in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin.
  • Starting a TAVR program with the support of 10 cardiologists
  • Supporting cancer center in caring for lung cancer patients
  • Access to state-of-the-art equipment and operating rooms, with brand new hybrid room, 15 modern surgical suites and 3 Da Vinci Xi robots
  • 30-bed ICU with dedicated in-house intensivist support
  • 12-county regional referral area in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin, with a catchment area of over 500,000
  • Academic appointment and teaching available


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: $775,926 – $898,241
