**Locum Cardiacthoracic Call Only Opening in Pennsylvania** Philadelphia 27m * Located in West Reading, PA - Philadelphia 62m (Potential to Float in Phoenixville, PA) * Coverage Dates: 6/24/24 to Ongoing * Rate: Tell us your rate! * Looking for a candidate that can do both Cardiac (Primary) and back up Thoracic Cases if needed. * We also have a robot if provider is credentialed in Robotic - Robotic Trained would be a plus. * All cardiac surgery and thoracic surgery procedures are required. * CABG * TAVR * Aortic Surgery * Thoracic Trauma * Disection Repair * Inpatient * 10-15 patients per shift * Admissions required * 40 bed department * EPIC EMR * Support Staff: 2 RN, 2 MA, 9 APPs, and 5 Office Staff * Call: Beeper * Call response time required: 15 minutes * Call Ratio: 0 * Call Back %: 0 * Locum Call is for: Assigned Patients * Phone Consults: 1-2 * Patients Seen: 10 * Admissions: 1-2 **Requirements** * Board Certified * Pennsylvania Licensure (no IMLC) * ACLS, ABTS * APP Supervision **Specialty Skills Required** * Cardiac/Thoracic Skills * General CV/thoracic surgery - open and endoscopic * Coronary artery bypass surgery - on and off pump * Congenital defects (ASD, VSD, PFO, etc.) * Valvular repair - valvular replacement * Aneurysm repair - cardiac and aorto-thoracic * Lung resection (including VATs) * Chest wall or pleural procedures * Esophagus and diaphragm surgeries Permanent pacemaker placement * AICD (Automatic Internal Cardiac Defibrillator) Left ventricular assist devices * TAVR * CABG * Vent Management * Bronchoscopy * Eval. And management of acute vol/BP issues Insertion of Central line * Insertion of Arterial line * Insertion of PA catheter * Insertion of IABP * Vascular Skills * TAVR * CABG * Eval. And management of acute vol/BP issues Insertion of Central line * Insertion of Arterial line * Insertion of PA catheter * Insertion of IABP
