Cardiothoracic Surgery Locum Tenens Coverage | Starting June

Location: Central Valley California
Duration: June – Ongoing
Schedule: 14 on/14 off 2 weeks per month
Shift: 7a-7a
Call: 24 hour ED
Patient volume: 300 hearts per year, 70-80 cases per month (hearts, thoracic, and very little if any vs.
Scope: Cardio, thoracic
EMR: Cerner
Hospital: Level 2 Trauma Center
Group/support: Intensivists in house 24/7 and take first call from the nurse. 1 physician: 4 apps (PAs first assist and round, NPs round, NP in office), 25 interventionalists on site
Requirements (boards, license): BC/BE with California license and CA DEA, COVID vaccine required
Credentialing: 60 days likely
Travel, lodging and malpractice-provided
Competitive compensation daily rate
