Specialty: Thoracic + Esophageal Surgery
Start Date: May 23rd, 2024. (Must be this date to hit Med Staff Orientation or next start will be June 4th, 2024.)

Shift Details:
Clinic: Tues, Thurs, Friday.
Call: Mon, Wednesday. 7a-3p. (Rounding, writing notes, and discharging.)
Weekends: 7a- 12p. Can be flexible on hours.

Work Details:
• Amount of coverage needed per month: FTE.
• Patients per day: 25+
• Patient population/age: All ages ranging from 18- geriatric. Insured, noninsured, and private pay.
• Department description: Ambulatory Thoracic and Esophageal Surgery.
• EMR: Cerner
• Technology: Microsoft, Cerner, AMS connect
• Special procedures: Pulling chest tube, part flushes, S-P drain removal, anticoagulant bridging for perioperative. Staple/Suture removal, general knowledge, chest tube management.
• Skills Required: Respiratory, GI assessments, gen knowledge, PET, CT X-rays, managing chest tubes including pulling; spirometry, multitasking.

• Ambulatory Surgery Center
• Hospital

Requirements:
• Board Certification: Thoracic + Esophageal Surgery
• State license required: WV.
• DEA: Required
• Certifications preferred: ACLS- AHA.
• Certifications required: BLS; AHA.
• *wants a provider that is good with writing notes and able to have good discharge summaries*
Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
