Job Description

Position: Cardiothoracic Surgeon
Location: Nevada
Start Date: ASAP

Schedule:

  • Onsite Coverage: Tuesday and Thursday (8 hours each day)
  • On Call Coverage: Tuesday evening, ALL DAY Wednesday, and Thursday evening

Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite coverage on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
  • Participate in on-call duties, including Tuesday evening, ALL DAY Wednesday, and Thursday evening.
  • Willingness to proctor and mentor newer physicians.
  • Average Call-back- 1 out of every 10-shifts

Type of Procedures:

  • Aortic Valve Surgery, Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Complex Reoperations, etc.
  • Structural Heart back up: watchman's, TAVR, mitral clip, PFO closure, emergent back up, CABG, surgical consult & surgery if appropriate.
