Job description
We are seeking an experienced Podiatrist for a locum tenens assignment providing comprehensive foot and ankle care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. This role focuses primarily on clinic-based care with additional inpatient consultations and surgical responsibilities. The position offers weekday coverage with strong nursing support and exposure to a full scope of podiatric pathology.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide outpatient clinic care and manage inpatient consultations
• Perform inpatient and outpatient podiatric surgeries
• Prescribe orthotics and provide therapeutic treatments
• Manage conditions such as arthritis, fractures, corns, and calluses
• Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary care teams
• Document patient care accurately and timely
Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (ACGME or AOA residency accepted)
• Active Oklahoma medical license
• DEA license required
• Oklahoma CDS required
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Clean malpractice and professional history (no remedial plans or red flags)
Working Hours
• Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Shift Length: 8 hours
• Weekend Call: None
• Occasional weekend inpatient rounds as needed
