Locum Plastic Surgery Physician
Specialty: Physician - Surgery - Plastic
Location: Des Moines, IA.
Shift: M-F with call rotation
Position Details:
Patient Population: Surgical and cosmetic patients of all ages
Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient
Responsibilities:
- Trauma call coverage
- ER consults
- In-office consults and procedures
- Reconstructive collaboration with breast surgeons
- Clinic and OR coverage as needed
Required Procedures:
- Plastic surgery procedures
- Reconstructive procedures
- Trauma-related procedures
- In-office procedures
EMR System: Epic
Support Staff:
- 1 Advanced Practice Provider
- 1:1 Nursing Support
- Ancillary Staff support available
On-Call/Weekends:
- Yes
- Call rotation coverage
- Either 7 on/7 off or 2 weeks on/2 weeks off
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified – Required
- Active IA License or Active IMLC – Required
- Must be experienced – Required
- Clean Malpractice/No Background – Required
