Join a growing healthcare organization in Lima, Ohio seeking a Plastic Surgeon to provide reconstructive and cosmetic surgical care. This opportunity offers collaboration with trauma, oncology, and specialty teams while building a rewarding practice focused on functional restoration, aesthetics, and patient-centered outcomes.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform reconstructive surgeries following trauma, cancer treatment, congenital conditions, or illness
• Perform cosmetic surgical and non-surgical procedures as appropriate within scope of practice
• Manage wound care, soft tissue reconstruction, scar revision, and complex closure procedures
• Collaborate with oncology, trauma, orthopedics, ENT, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on functional and aesthetic goals
• Educate patients regarding procedures, expectations, recovery, and long-term outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and surgical programs
• Provide on-call coverage as required by the department
Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Plastic Surgery
• Valid Ohio medical license or eligibility to obtain
• DEA certification if required
• Strong surgical, communication, and teamwork skills
• No red flags or disciplinary history on license
