A Plastic Surgery locum opportunity is available in York, PA, offering weekend call coverage in an inpatient setting. This is an excellent opportunity for a surgeon seeking consistent monthly coverage with a flexible, ongoing assignment.
Assignment Overview
- Start Date: May 22, 2026
- Setting: Inpatient – Call Coverage
- Schedule:
- Weekend call: Friday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM
- Schedule may vary based on permanent staff PTO
- Coverage Needed: 6–8 shifts per month
- Assignment Type: Ongoing
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient plastic surgery coverage
- Respond to consults and surgical needs as they arise
- Manage call responsibilities and patient care during assigned shifts
Practice Details
- Call volume and callback rates: Pending
- EMR: Epic
- Streamlined onboarding with expedited privileges for candidates with clean files
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Plastic Surgery
- Prefer 5+ years of experience
- Ability to manage inpatient consults and call coverage independently
- Clean background required for expedited credentialing
