Description
A Pennsylvania hospital is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Plastic Surgeon for ongoing inpatient on-call coverage. Providers will cover trauma and inpatient surgical cases at York Hospital. Shifts are primarily Friday 7 AM – Monday 7 AM but may vary based on provider availability.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient surgical care and consults
- Respond to trauma and urgent surgical cases
- Collaborate with hospital staff for high-quality patient care
- Document patient care in Epic EMR
Qualifications
- MD or DO required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Plastic Surgery
- Pennsylvania medical license required (willing to obtain)
- DEA registration required
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience
- Trauma experience preferred
Working Hours
- 24-hour on-call shifts
- 6–8 shifts per month
