Location: Level II Trauma Center
Schedule: 24-hour call coverage (7-day stretches preferred)
Position Overview
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Plastic Surgeon to provide reconstructive trauma call coverage at a busy Level II Trauma Center. This opportunity involves managing a wide range of reconstructive and trauma-related plastic surgery cases, with emphasis on facial trauma and inpatient wound/plastics management.
Assignment Details
Call Coverage: 24-hour call, 7 days per week
Start Time: 8:00 AM start on first day of coverage
Preferred Coverage Blocks: 7-day stretches
Age Range: Adults (≥16 years old)
Patient Volume: Approximately 5–10 consults per week
Support Staff: No dedicated support staff; surgeon will coordinate care independently
Case Types:
Reconstructive trauma
Facial trauma
Inpatient wound and plastic surgery cases
Immediate Coverage Needs
December 1–7, 2025
December 22–28, 2025
January 5–11, 2026

Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Plastic Surgery
Active state medical license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
Experience with reconstructive and facial trauma strongly preferred
Comfort working independently in a trauma center environment
