Schedule

OR time: 1–2 scheduled OR days per week

Call: 24-hour shifts, 2–3 calls per week

Shift Structure: 7:00 am – 7:00 am (24h call)
Work Details

Facility: Level I Trauma, Acute Care Hospital

Support Staff: Full OR team support

Volume: ~1–3 patients/day

Patient Population: Adult microsurgical + Adult & Pediatric hand surgery cases

Procedures: General plastic surgery with required microsurgery and/or hand cases

Charting/EMR: Epic
Requirements
-
Board Certification: Required (Plastic Surgery)
-
Licensure: Active VA license OR open to licensing support

Certifications: Fellowship in Hand Surgery or Microsurgery, BLS, ACLS, DEA

Experience: Minimum 2 years

Credentialing Timeframe: ~60 days
