  • Other Details: The facility, which is stroke-certified is looking for a provider to cover On-site clinical hours plus beeper call if needed. Some special requirements for this assignment are Whole body wound reconstruction with local, regional, and microvascular flaps. Microsurgery are specifically DIEP flaps and Top Surgery. Wound care experience is required. Providers operate in the hospital 2-3 days per week with 2 clinic days per week. Surgical times in the hospital may vary from the typical schedule (OR times typically 7:40am-5pm), especially for DIEP Flap surgeries. This position wouldn't be doing any cosmetic surgeries and there would likely not be any trauma surgery. The surgeries would be mostly focused to wound reconstruction and microsurgery (DIEP flaps). There would also be the opportunity for breast reconstruction combo cases, combo cases with other SCI clinics, and some general plastic surgery (transgender top surgeries, breast reductions, etc.) There are an average of 15-20 patients per shift.
