We are seeking a Dynamic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon who is Board Certified or Board Eligible.
Job Responsibilities
Discuss treatment options, potential risks, and outcomes with patients.
Develop comprehensive treatment plans based on patient needs, medical conditions, and desired outcomes.
Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
Perform reconstructive plastic surgery procedures to address congenital defects, traumatic injuries, or the aftermath of medical treatments (e.g., cancer surgery).
Utilize a variety of surgical techniques, such as tissue grafting, flap surgery, and microvascular surgery.
Monitor patients' recovery after surgery and manage postoperative complications, if any.
Provide guidance on wound care, pain management, and other aspects of the recovery process.
Work closely with other medical specialists, including oncologists, orthopedic surgeons, and neurosurgeons, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
Collaborate with nurses, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals during surgical procedures.
Educate patients about the surgical process, potential outcomes, and realistic expectations.
Provide preoperative and postoperative instructions to ensure optimal recovery.
Stay current with advancements in reconstructive plastic surgery through ongoing research and continuing education.
Contribute to medical literature through publications and presentations.
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records, documenting patient history, treatment plans, and outcomes.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and protocols.
