Exciting opportunity for a Microvascular Hand Surgeon to join a prestigious group in Phoenix, AZ.

We are actively seeking a full-time hand surgeon with a keen interest in academics and trauma to join our team. Our Department operates within a community hospital, serving as a State and American College of Surgeons designated Level 1 Trauma Center in the metropolitan Phoenix area. We are currently in search of a microvascular plastics and hand surgeon who is passionate about resident education to integrate seamlessly into our bustling plastics and hand practice. With a strong focus on trauma and dedicated support from the trauma team, the surgeon will assume a pivotal role in the Department of Surgery. Responsibilities include serving as a faculty member, delivering traditional inpatient and outpatient services for elective, urgent, and emergent care of plastic/hand patients, participating in teaching activities, and providing on-call coverage. The Department is also home to a General Surgery and Surgical Podiatry Residency Program, and the successful candidate will supervise resident rotators in plastic surgery.

The ideal candidate should have completed Plastic Surgery residency training, and previous faculty experience is preferred. Board certification/eligibility is a requirement, along with the completion of the Certificate in Added Qualifications for Hand or Surgery of the Hand (certified/eligible). Comfort with a collaborative, teamwork-oriented approach to patient management is essential.

Our highly regarded group, owned and operated by physicians, is comprised over 400 providers representing all major medical and surgical specialties. We offer an exceptional work environment and a competitive compensation plan/benefits package, which includes paid time off, a CME allowance with dedicated time off, and employer-paid malpractice insurance with tail coverage.
